Kisnard Online Release Notes

 This page will be constantly updated with each new version of Kisnard Online!  You can find what new features, bug fixes, and other information a certain update contains.  This information will also show directly in the game client.

Version 0.5.0 (DEV Alpha) - 06/25/2014


New Features


  • Quests and quest interface completed - support for sub tasks, gives, rewards
  • Guilds - add/remove members, transfer guild deed, disband guild, leave guild
  • Screenshot function built in to game
  • Corpses created after death - ability to gather items or loot from other corpses
  • Town guards - holy and criminal type, will attack monsters within range to protect town
  • SITE: random screenshot functionality in left sidebar working
  • SITE: release notes page paginated - 2 versions per page

  • Gameplay Changes


  • Allow guild members to loot your corpse(with no penalty) - to help regain your stuff

  • Bug Fixes


  • Too many to list until a more stable code base

  • Known Issues


  • No create guild, or modify guild (name, sign, description, flags) functionality
  • Few GUI glitches and alignment issues
  • Damage numbers/icons do not follow player/entity when moving
  • Ability to change keyboard keys (movement/toggles/window shortcuts) - just need interface to let you change them

    New Features


  • Tradeskills (gathering/processing/finishing) working perfectly
  • Quests (task types: Talk/Gather/Kill) - work in progress
  • Quests interface wip - Active/Completed tabs and quest details upon button press in Active/Completed tab
  • Rewrote give/take gold/WAI(weapons/armor/items) code for quests

  • Gameplay Changes


  • Able to equip the same weapon/armor if already wearing it - due to 'looted' wep/arm
  • Weight system added(for weapons/armor/items) instead of stack limits for items

  • Guild chat simply sends to everyone; guilds todo
