Gameplay Chat Help

In Kisnard Online you will run into many fellow adventurers.  To chat hit the ‘Enter’ key on your keyboard or click into the chat text box.  When your message is ready to be sent hit the ‘Enter’ key again or click the send button.

 

 

 

There are multiple chat types that will allow you to communicate more efficiently with others.  The first chat type is ‘General’.  When you send a message via ‘General’ chat every player within your screen(if playing on the largest resolution) will see it.  ‘General’ chat messages will be displayed in white font.

 

 

The second chat type is ‘Whisper’.  When you send a message via ‘Whisper’ chat every player standing next to you will see it.  ‘Whisper’ chat messages will be displayed in brown font.

 

 

The third chat type is ‘Guild’.  When you send a message via ‘Guild’ chat every member of your guild will see it.  ‘Guild’ chat messages will be displayed in blue font.

 

 

If you are not in a guild you will see the following error message.

 

 

The fourth chat type is ‘Global’.  When you send a message via ‘Global’ chat every player will see it.  ‘Global’ chat messages will be displayed in pink font for regular players and red font for GMs/DEVs.  Currently all players are able to use ‘Global’ chat without cost.  In the future, ‘Global’ chat will have a cost structure(likely gold -> diamonds) to ensure spam is prevented.

 

 

Players will also see grey colored status messages in their chat.  These messages will appear for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to tradeskill status, screenshot notification, and quest messages.
